These leopard face bookmarks combine traditional craft, vibrant colours, and playful design. Slip the felt face into your book, ribbon down the spine, and bead peeking out – it’s the most practical (and roarsome) bookmark in town. The ribbon "tail" is approximately 31cm long and the leopard face has an approximate size of 5cm x 5cm.

Each item includes a story card with the handwritten name of the woman who made it – a heartfelt signature from Makapanstad, South Africa. The Heartfelt Project is a South African community upliftment initiative founded by Martha Letsoalo and Julie Hadley. Born from heartbreak, the project now empowers unemployed women in the rural village of Makapanstad to create beautiful felt designs using traditional craft techniques. Their work provides a dignified income, fosters hope, and gives back to the community through donations to local health and education programmes. Your purchase supports job creation, sustainable development, and the Cape Leopard Trust’s conservation, research, and environmental education efforts.
