New Hotline Service - 0860 LEOPARD (ie 0860 5367273)

We are delighted to announce that Quiver Corporate Solutions (Pty) Ltd who operate outsourced hotline services under the BE HEARD™ brand have offered to manage a service at no charge for the Cape Leopard Trust with effect from 15 January 2009. This comes after the amazing Carte Blanche programme on the CLT produced by Nikki Berriman.

This service will enable members of the public to call 0860-LEOPARD 24-hours a day 7 days a week in most of the official languages and report incidents involving the Cape Leopard anonymously (where required) and confidentially. Members of the public can also e-mail [email protected], send faxes to 0861-BEHEARD or access an online reporting template on www.beheard.co.za.

In addition to this the CLT’s existing telephone number 073 2414513 will be forwarded to the BE HEARD™ contact centre when Quinton is not in the office to ensure that all calls to the CLT are answered at any time of the day or night.

BE HEARD™ will send Quinton a daily summary of all calls received by e-mail and will contact him on his private number should any urgent and important reports be received. The CLT will then act on these calls or if it’s out of their jurisdiction, pass the information to the relevant organizations for them to help.
