Join the inaugural Cape Leopard Trust Trail Run at the spectacular location of Cascade Country Manor in Paarl on Saturday, 24 October, with prizes sponsored by our partners K-Way. Three race distances are on offer with varying levels of difficulty to choose from. Bring the family along to spend a day in the country and relax while the children enjoy the jungle gym and gardens. Food and drink will be on sale at the venue. 

Route Descriptions:

Long Route 20 km, Start time 7:00 am The trail will start at Cascade Country Manor. The first two kilometers will be through pine and natural forest with a steady climb to the top. The next five kilometers will follow a trail through olive groves and easy jeep track. This is the perfect opportunity to enable the field to stretch before the next climb. Finish with a fast descends down Cascade Manor’s New Enduro Mountain Biking trail and passing our beautiful waterfall. We will away your return at the hotel with refreshments and a warm welcome. 

Medium Route 15 km, Start time 7:15 am The medium route will follow very much the same route as the long route. The only difference being a quick escape before all the climbs.

Short Route 5 km, Start time 7:30 am This is a quick and easy route for the weekend warrior. The scenic trail starts on farm roads and finishes with a spectacular descend down the valley back to the manor.
