Hi-Tec Inspired by CLT Environmental Education Project

Hi-Tec is known globally for its outdoor apparel, especially its durable and hard wearing walking boots. When in the Cederberg and on day trips around Cape Town, participants in our programme are required to undertake some challenging walks in the mountains in order to see the best of the spectacular landscapes around us. Our environmental educators do their best to inspire and teach these youngsters to appreciate the mountains and the rich biodiversity found there.

In this situation good footwear offers valuable support for feet and ankles helping to keep us and our youngsters safe and mobile when negotiating difficult terrain, which obviously makes for an overall more enjoyable hiking experience.

Over the years Hi-Tec has supported more than just OUR feet keeping them warm and dry, it also enables our participants to enjoy their time with us. Hi-Tec has once again provided 20 new pairs of hiking boots so that the children and young adults taking part in the Cederberg environmental education programme can continue to come out for a walk with us - at anytime and in any weather!

Thank you Hi-Tec and Congratulations on 40 years of being 'Inspired by Life'!
