Clanwilliam Animal Welfare Society fundraising drive

Published: 17 March 2011

The Clanwilliam Animal Welfare Society is Selling raffle tickets to fund a mass sterilisation drive that is taking place on 23 and 24 May.

CLAWS provides low-cost or free animal health and welfare services to the local community and farms in the greater Clanwilliam area. Considering that the last leopard to be killed in the CLT Cederberg study area was due to a farmer a setting traps to capture feral dogs in this area in March 2007, we support this initiative.

They have 3 great prizes to win; all you have to do is buy a raffle ticket for ONLY R10 to enter the draw that will take place on 26th March.  Included in the prizes is a  two nights stay at Oudrif (www.oudrif.co.za ) for two adults. We have stayed at this environmentally friendly lodge situated on the banks of the Doring River – it’s awesome.
