The Cape Leopard Trust Education Project Gets New Wheels

Published: 12 November 2015

Helen Turnbull, CEO, Environmental Educator, Catherine Kühn, and Education Project Coordinator, Nicole le Roux, travelled out to the Paarl Winelands recently to visit the Avis office there.

Catherine had received news that it was time to return her current vehicle as a new replacement was ready for her to collect, so we thought we would all take the opportunity to join her on the day to mark the special occasion. It was quite strange to see the new vehicle drive out onto the road, an exact replica of the current Avis branded Polo Vivo! We made sure to include the Paarl Avis team in the happy handover and we took some pictures with branch manager, Regan Williams, and his colleagues Gabriel Lestrih and Jody Diedericks.

Just to make sure they won’t forget us in a hurry, we gave them their very own special Cape leopard to take care of. We are so appreciative of the continued support from Avis for the Cape Town Environmental Education programme work, which makes sure we are always on the move and can reach out to to children in all communities of our city. Look out for our Avis Polo on the road and do let us know if you spot us out and about.
